Wil Sylvince is a Brooklyn-born Haitian and graduate of New York Technical College.  Wil displays a unique and electrifying brand of humor that keeps crowds laughing and on the edge of their seats – literally.  Wil uses what he terms as an “early childhood speech impediment” to his advantage as he dazzles audiences with his ability to play on words, as well as names.  A lot of Wil’s material stems from his social and political views as well as his life experiences, such as his routine regarding “no more ugly girls for me!”

Wil has appeared on BET’s Comic View, The Apollo Comedy Hour, and Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam.  His ability to get a standing ovation on Def Comedy Jam with a performance that included no vulgarities is a testament to Wil’s ability to think outside the box and not follow the mainstream.  He now uses the tape of that “clean” performance to challenge the vulgar stereotype associated with the show, as well as the stereotype associated with urban comics in general.

Wil was also featured on the Snaps album and in the accompanying book.  Wil’s writing abilities attracted the attention of Grammy® -winner Wyclef Jean who tapped Wil to write some of the hilarious skits on The Fugees’ album The Score and later on Wyclef’s solo album, The Carnival.

Wil is a favorite at colleges, having become a regular at Harvard University, Florida Atlantic University and many historically black colleges.  By working with RBG Promotions and showcasing at conferences of the National Association of Campus activities, he hopes to have the opportunity to entertain more students in the near future.  Wil’s universally understood material and diverse appeal has enabled him to make the whole world laugh along with him.  He has performed around the world, including the U.K., Bermuda, Holland, The Cayman Islands, Germany, Jamaica, and Canada.  With a limitless future ahead of him, Wil says that “by the will of God and the support of my family, my limits are endless.”  Therefore, nothing can stop him, and guess what...Nothing WIL!

Wil can currently be seen performing at colleges and universities across the country or hosting shows at Caroline’s on Broadway, in the heart of New York City.
